Terri hat gerade den Indie Soul Award für die beste weibliche Sängerin im März 2022 gewonnen. The Terri Green Project waren 2 mal die Nr. 1 der US Indie Soul Charts mit „Lost Inside Your Love“ und „Sneaking out“, erreichten mit den gleichen Titeln Platz 2 in den UK Soul Charts und Platz 4 in den Urban Influencer Charts.
Randy Hall ist ein bekannter Gitarrist und Sänger aus Las Vegas. Randy hatte Auftritte im legendären Soul Train, arbeitete zusammen und tourte mit Ray Parker jr. und ist auf einem Miles-Davis-Album zu hören ist. Heute ist er erfolgreicher Sänger und Produzent seiner eigenen Musik.
Torsten Abrolat arrangierte zusammen mit Reggie Staggers diesen Steppers Song mit seidigen Streichern und kraftvollen Bläsern, die von den Meistern, der in D.C. ansässigen NWO mit Lenny Harris, Wondel Brown und Gilbert Pryor eingespielt wurde An der Bassgitarre ist.
Thomas Stieger zu hören, den Sie vielleicht von seiner jüngsten Tournee mit Randy Brecker kennen und der hinter all den Bass-Performances auf The Terri Green Project-Produktionen wie "Giving It Up" und "Night To Remember" steht.

Die Sterne standen günstig, als N.W.O. und The Terri Green Project sich zusammentaten. Das fleißige Duo Terri Green & Torsten Abrolat (Toddi Reed), das hinter dem Chart-Erfolg von The Terri Green Projects steht, lernte Lenny Harris durch den Soul-Crooner Marc Staggers kennen. Terri konnte nicht ahnen, dass drei ikonische Musiker wie eine Familie werden und gemeinsam mit ihrem Partner Torsten Abrolat Musik machen würden. Der N.W.O.-Sound landete auf dem UK Soul #2 und US Indie Soul #1 Album, Sneaking Out und der Rest war Geschichte. Terri und Torsten fühlten sich geehrt, dass sie diesen Traum von einer lebenslangen Zusammenarbeit auf ihrer Single verwirklichen konnten und wollten das Feuer am Brennen halten.
Das Duo grub sich ein und schrieb und produzierte weitere Musik mit der Band. Keine leichte Aufgabe, wenn man so viel Talent hat. Lenny Harris hat mit Größen wie Miki Howard, Wilton Felder, Jerry Butler, Heatwave und Chante Moore zusammengearbeitet, während Wondel Brown, ein Freund aus Kindertagen, mit seinem musikalischen Partner Dr. Gilbert Pryor auf Tournee ging und die Bühnen mit Barry White, The Temptations, Gladys Knight, Lena Horne und sogar der Königin des Soul, Aretha Franklin, teilte. Gilbert, der 2020 für seinen Song „Let's Ride“ für einen Grammy nominiert wurde, verblüfft immer wieder mit seinem kultigen Arrangement des Multi-Platin-Hits Pump it up von Trouble Funk.
Lost Inside Your Love ist ein Ohrwurm, bei dem man mitsummen kann. Der Track strotzt vor klassischer Soul-Finesse und lädt dennoch zum Tanzen ein. Die All-Star-Band, bestehend aus Jay Williams (Dave Koz, Gerald Albright) am Schlagzeug, Mike Scott (Prince, Justin Timberlake) an der Gitarre und Thomas Stieger (The Terri Green Project, Gregory Porter, Sarah Connor), ist ein Who's Who in der Welt der Soul- und Jazz-Musiker und verleiht dem souligen Evergreen ihren eigenen Touch. The Terri Green Project (TGP) is back! Sneaking Out is exactly what summer radio was waiting for. Terri’s unique vocal caresses the tune, as Torsten’s slick keys and 70s infused string hits were complimented by the featured performance of the iconic horn formation, THE N.W.O. Horns’ Lenny Harris, Gilbert Pryor and Wondel Brown. Harris is known for his work with such great Jazz and Soul icons as the Phenix Horns, Louis Satterfield, legend Phil Collins, Wilton Felder and Gladys Knight. The slick guitar solo of Fountain Burnett, Hamburg based bass and guitarist to the stars in Germany, also cowrote the single.
A guest remix from Traxsource #1 chart topping soulful house DJ/producer Peter Brown provides a slick rework that brings the bumping disco vibe to the dancefloor. This is the first part of the release, with more to come as we dive into summer.

Toddi Reed and Terri Green joined forces to produce a vibrant classic soul mix that leans heavily on their usual 'TGP' style.
With a soft bed of string arrangements, Toddi's splendid saxophone performance, and a tight bass performance from Thomas Steiger who also played on the last few number one hits for the band, the groove, surrounded by Toddi's orchestral arrangement leaves us feeling the 1970s influenced production.

Toddi Reed, the co-producer and creator of the band with Terri gave their Discolovers pseudonym a boost by remixing their single again. Their remix is a charming hint of the disco vibe of the 1970s, but manages to push the kick and bass to the proper level required in soulful house dance floors of today. The duo enlisted bassist Fontaine Burnett, who added an additional level of soul authenticity by riding the groove throughout the track. Frank Star, the Terri calls her Newcastle secret weapon, brilliantly and masterfully remixes the tune with a sprinkle of “Philly” soul and a grooving reformulated bass line to give the same wonderful track new life. Bruno Verdugo adds the funky touch by combining the 80s thump without destroying the vibe of the original and as with his remix of “Giving it Up," it is a stone cold blast.
