Award-winning artists unite with producer Rob Hardt of Cool Million for a sophisticated new soul and smooth jazz collaboration.
International recording artists Terri Green and Castella join forces for a stunning new interpretation of “Trouble in Paradise,” originally recorded by the legendary Al Jarreau. Produced by Rob Hardt of Cool Million and co-executive produced by Terri Green and Castella, the release blends contemporary soul, smooth jazz and Adult R&B — a fresh take on a timeless composition that honors the spirit of the original.
Known for her powerhouse vocals and songwriting, Terri Green has become one of independent soul music’s most successful international artists, with multiple UK Soul Chart #1 singles, US Indie Soul chart-toppers, an Indie Soul Grammy Award for Best Female Vocalist, and a Billboard Adult R&B Airplay Top 30 hit.
Los Angeles-based songwriter and vocalist Castella brings an elegant blend of soul and smooth jazz, with collaborations including Ragan Whiteside, Marqueal Jordan, Willie Bradley, The Jupiter Gallery and Grammy-winning producer Darryl Swann. Her celebrated recording of “Nights Over Egypt,” featuring Ragan Whiteside, earned a personal endorsement from Shirley Jones of The Jones Girls.
Behind the production is Rob Hardt — producer, guitarist and co-founder of Cool Million — whose sophisticated productions have helped shape the modern soul movement for more than two decades.
On the charts: #2 UK Soul Chart Breakers, #5 (New) on the Solar Sweet Rhythms Chart, and a Top 5 Most Added on Mediabase Smooth Jazz.
